MissT Events is a relatively new company to the entertainment industry, owned and operated by Tana Miller otherwise known as MissT. In August 2005, MissT Events was conceived by it’s mother company, 6 month old MissT Promotions. MissT Promotions felt that promoting in itself was difficult without knowing the full details regarding an event, and therefore needed to expand itself to improve the level of service to future clients. So with a few shows under it’s belt MissT moved on to booking events and later organizing the whole process, hence the creation of ME. MissT Events wields no limitations in the industry and possesses a widespread roster of accomplishments such as musical events, fashion shows, film debuts and dinner parties. MissT Events continues to flourish, each event becoming more successful than the last. New ideas, education and experience keep MissT Events growing wiser, yet grounded and multifaceted like it’s founder MissT.

More about ME…MissT that is…

Being a part of the music industry was a goal MissT wanted to achieve for many years. She grew up learning the ins and outs of the music business due to her father’s profession as a musician. She spent much of her elementary years traveling with her family and the band in the tour bus, going from city to city and spent countless hours in recording studios. Though a lot of her childhood was eaten up by the industry, MissT found herself attracted to the thought of bettering it in any way she could.

MissT is currently working towards a diploma in Entertainment Business Management from The Centre for Arts and Technology. She also has a diploma in Acupressure from Mount Royal College, and has attended college for Journalism Arts and Photography. She has many interests; including music, painting, writing and photography as well as sports such as baseball. She plans to expand her company in the near future, buying property and opening her own venue to orchestrate her visions.

Some may ask “Why did you choose MissT? A fairy for your logo, what does that have to do with the entertainment industry?” “Well…” she will say, “The definition of Tana is ‘queen of the fairies’ and why MissT? Cuz that’s me!”
